Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi Annie,
I understand your concern, but its rare to have blurred vision, post tonsillectomy surgery. One possibility is that the eyes could be having something called as exposure keratitis, in which the eyes, if not closed properly during the general anesthesia, can dry up and cause blurry vision. Fortunately this is temporary. The other possibility could be that your daugther could be having some pre existing refractive error.
In any case it would be best to have her examined by an optometrist/ ophthalmologist asap.
All the very best health for your and your family !!!
