What Causes Blurred Vision After Taking Ciprofolacin?

hi dr, i took ciprofolacin last couple of days for UTi, after i finished taking my last ciprofolaxin pill. i started to have blrry vision and a lot of pain in my lower legs near the heals, and swelling, like my tendons or muscle is tearing apart. i am very worried and concerned, if its side effect or adverse affect, is it temporary , will it goes away?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
i really appreciate your concern

symptoms you are mentioning about could be the side effects of ciprofloxacin and all will be subsided once you stop the drug

you can ask your doctor for another alternative which suits you better like norfloxacin or penicillin group of drugs

have plenty of fluids and fresh fruits
multivitamin supplements

Hope this answers your question
good luck
