Hi my question is concerning my 66year old mom....she had a ear infection and was treated with steoids from her doctor.....she had complained about blurred side vision ......i have booked a appointment with her eye doctor....my question is will steroids cause this vision loss ty

Hi,

Blurred vision could be due medicine although it is less likely but complete loss of vision is the serious condition and it cannot be due to any medicine, infection may be the cause but it is also very less likely, even steroid may not be the cause (Unless it is the viral fever and patient is immune compromise).
