What Causes Blurred Vision After Wisdom Tooth Extraction?
I had my bottom wisdom teeth removed 2 years ago but not my top ones. Since then my vision has became blurry to the point where i need two different pairs of glasses. I have constant pressure on the sides of my head and earache / pressure behind my ears. This has affected my life so much i spend most days in bed now as i feel so drowsy when awake. If i remove my top wisdom teeth will i feel better?
As per your complain blurry vision along with constant pressure. Sides of head and behind ears does not seems to be due to extraction of your lower wisdom teeth, rather can be due to Sinus inflammation or Sinusitis or neurological problems.. Extraction of upper wisdom teeth can relieve in case if due to the wisdom teeth encroaching the floor of sinuses and causing infection in sinuses is the cause, otherwise not.. So first consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation. MRI SCAN and x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. As of now you can try using saline nasal irrigation. Decongestant nasal sprays like Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline for reducing pressure.. Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like ...
Hope this helps..
Regards..
