Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am a 26 year old female without any significant medical history- with the exception of two abscessed teeth several months ago. I had a severe infection that I was prescribed Cleocin for until the two right molars were extracted. I woke up a few days ago with a right black eye, with blurry vision in that eye, and severe pain when blinking or touching it. I have not had any trauma in the area and have had no problems with my vision before. Is this something that spontaneously happens and resolves or something to be concerned about?
Withiut any trauma this will have to be investigated, there exists a trouble symptom called panda eyes and will have to be ruled out with your given history. Please do consider visiting a doctor for further evaluation.
Best wishes
