What Causes Blurred Vision Along With Mild Redness In The Eye?

Hello, I woke up this morning with an unidentifiable eye issue. My symptoms are as follows: white stringy eye goo, numbness, blurred vision due to goo, slight redness. I am nervous that it is pink eye but my symptoms don t seem to line up so well with what is on the internet and I will not be able to seek medical attention for a few days.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to the pinky eye.

The symptoms of the pinky eye may be various.

I suggest using artificial tear to relive the conjunctiva.

If the symptoms continue, I suggest using Tobradex to treat a possible infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
