What Causes Blurred Vision And Blind Spot In The Left Eye Long After A Laser Surgery?

I have sudden blurring of vision in my left eye. I have had it for three days. No problems prior to this time except two years ago I had laser surgery on both eyes for cataracts and severe myopia. A month ago I experienced a blind spot in the same eye (the left) roughly the size of looking at the moon. It lasted only 20 minutes. Can you advise please ?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Blurring of vision may not be associated with prior cataract surgery and myopia. I suggest you to consult your ophthalmologist for clinical assessment, investigations and thus diagnosis. Treatment can only be planned after diagnosis of the condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
