What Causes Blurred Vision And Dizziness While Suffering From High BP?
Hi, back in august of last year i was given Atenolol 25 mg tablet for my BP that was 138/94 or so. I never filled my prescription and started exercising and stop eating sun flower seed. I would also monitor my bp at home which was 120/80. Last week I felt not so myself and checked my bp which was 138/92 so i went to feel my prescription so I ve been taking it and exercising but noticed my bp is 112/72. Shouldci worry. Notice blurred vision and a bit dizzy
First of all, make sure you take your medicines on time as per your doctor’s advice. The blurring of vision and dizziness might or might not be related to the rise in blood pressure. As you are taking the medicine now, your BP is in normal range. I would suggest you visit an ophthalmologist once. Also talk to your treating doctor about it on your next visit. Make sure you are well hydrated through out this duration.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
