What Causes Blurred Vision And Head Spinning While Showering?

When I was in the shower I started thinking about my personal life and then had a sudden fear and my head started spinning and my vision became all blurry, I felt a dizzy sensation so I had to sit down and keep my head down to make the pain go away. This worries me... What is it ?

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
There is a possibility of Multiple sclerosis (MS) in which Uhthoff's phenomenon may occur characterized by the the worsening of symptoms
(decreased /blurring vision) on exposure to heat (hot shower) .
Such heat-related symptoms probably result from transient conduction block .
Alternatively the transient dizziness and blurry vision may be due to vasovagal syncope.

Regards
