What Causes Blurred Vision And Headache While Having Anxiety Disorder?

I have a 20 year history of anxiety disorder and it is controled with medication. I have had a few episodes of blurred vision, headache, short term memory recall, and problems with concentration. BP and pulse are within normal limits. Hospitalized first episode. Nothing found. If I go to sleep I am fine when i awaken. After One episode I was on edge for a week and couldn t relax. As I was when the panic disorder had not been diagnosed. Any idea what s going on.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have blurred vision and headache while having anxiety disorder. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like abrasions to the cornea , cataracts , migraine headaches , peripheral neuropathy , generalized anxiety disorder , panic attack , transient ischemic attack , diabetes, type 2 , migraine and vitamin B12 deficiency . I would suggest you to consult ophthalmologist . Doctor may order CT scan , check for intraocular pressure , ophthalmoscopy , refraction and blood testing to determine if bacteria is in the blood and treat acordingly like prescribing antibiotics and anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist to rule out serious condition like stroke . Doctor may order blood tests , CT scan , MRI , carotid ultrasound , cerebral angiogram and echocardiogram . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist to rule out diabetic condition .
