What Causes Body Chill While Suffering From Fever?

I have a 16 year old boy who has been running a fever since Monday. It s 101.9 now. He has taken tylenol. he has had some nausea, but not now. Feels fine except cold because of the fever. Should I let him sit for the weekend and see how he feels? Just keep an eye on the temp? YYYY@YYYY
