Based on his symptoms and your query, I would like to rule out stroke. I recommend: - an urgent physucuan consult and a neurologist opinion - a ct scan or mri of the brain. An angiogram of the cerebral (brain)circulation may be needed. - an electrocardiogram and echocardiogram -blood tests ( complete blood count, lipid profile,thyroid profile, blood glucose panel, kidney and liver function tests) - urine analysis - chest x ray - doppler study of the lower limbs to check for thrombosis based on these we can find out what is going on. your husband ,being a truck driver, is prone to deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This puts him at an increased risk for stroke and cardiovascular events (heart attack, for instance). I urge you to see a doctor right away or go to the emergency.
