What Causes Body Itching While On Turmeric Curcumin?

I started taking Turmeric Curcumin 500mg twice a day for general arthritis pain in toes, ankles, knees, hips and fingers. I have taken it for 7 days (today). Last night I itched all over, no rash, no red spots - just a generalized itch that drove me nuts. I took Zantac 300mg OTC and Benadryl 50mg around 3 AM and it eased. I was wondering if itching is a side effect of the Turmeric. Didn t really find it listed as one, but this is the only new thing I have started. Nothing else has changed

Hello dear. Thank you for using Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. It seems you are suffering from an allergic reaction to tumernic. First of all don't take it anymore. Then take citerisine or benadryl but not both. Hope my answer was helpful. Best regards.
