What Causes Body Pain Despite Taking Aleve While Having Type 1 Diabetes?
I am a 71 yr old female with type 1 diabetes I have been experiencing body pain. It started at my right shoulder for at least two days could not raise my arm, then moved to my left side now its moved to my back. I have taken aleve for the pain and using a heat pad. This pain is almost a week old. What can I do to relieve the body aches. I exercise at least twice a week.

I recommend a check on your vitamin D and serum calcium levels in order to rule out causes that can result in pains and aches. Also make sure that you are well hydrated and all your nutrient levels are normal, as diabetes can result in loss of electrolytes which can result in such pains and aches.
