Hi and welcome to HCM.
I'm Dr. Taimur and I will be addressing your health concerns.
I have read your question and understand your concern.

First of all you should have given the name of drugs which she has used or using, as that would have given us the opportunity to go through the list and pick any culprit drug ( if you can mail me the list that will surely settle down the issue).
Most of the antihypertensives used now a days are not associated with the aches and pains usually,
The lipid lowering agents like statins are highly associated with the aches and pains ( usually prescribed at night).
sometimes the uncontrolled blood pressure will give the generalised body aches and pains and headache.
And it needs sometime to achieve a desirable effect ( usually few days ) for most of the drugs.
And last thing the aches and pains may be due to another concomitant illness, and wrongly associated with the drugs.

I hope this might be of some help, if you have any query feel free to ask me any time.
Thanks.
Dr. Taimur
