What Causes Body Rashes And Swelling In The Joints?

my doctor says my ANA antinuclear antibodies is high she says half of population is positive and says i dont have lupus even tho i have rashes with sun exposure,swollen hand joints x7 years,neurological clinical like seizures as confirmed by a neurologist, nail changes with ridging disc rashes, swollen ankles, memory problems i honestly believe that this doctor has not correctly diagnosed me btw i am a nurse

Hello,
Your manifestations could be because of lupus. But, only ana is not sufficient for diagnosis. You should get Anti DsDNA level done which are confirmatory for diagnosis. Also, get esr, crp levels, RF and anti CCP done.
Treatment will be initiated after confirming the diagnosis. You can visit nearby rheumatologist for detailed evaluation.
