What Causes Body Tremors And Neck Rigidity While On Mirtazepine For Anxiety?
myself himayun, i was having blood pressure in past around 140/90 and i got anxious and also i was outside my home for 4 months. i start having anxiety more and more. now then i feel like shaking of my body and then i went to a psychiatrist. He prescribed 7.5 mg mirtazepine at bed time, but now i am taking it on alternate days. i again feel shaky movements, neck rigidity etc and i am not in my best of conditions... i have a fear of falling down... please tell me Dr. what to do?

The mirtazepine is used as an anti depressant drug with various side effects. The currently mentioned body tremors and neck rigidity are in concern with the alteration in the levels of neuro transmitters in the brain. Kindly stop further doses of the drug and report the issue to your doctor's office for further guidance.
