General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Kidney failure itself causes less amount of urine excretion. Collection of toxins accumulating in blood & water retention edema on legs. Nausea, loss of appetite, shortness of breath. Your father also has heart failure along with all these. Naturally he has increased fatigue, lack of balance. Every thing to make him miserable. He needs rest &symptomatic treatment to reduce his sufferings. Take him to an intensivist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
