What Causes Boil On Foot Oozing Clear Liquid?
I had a boil in my foot, just above the two middle toes. It was approximately 1 inch big, without any pain. It opened up after about 7 days. A clear liquid came out. I squeezed the remaining liquid out with sterile gauze. The boil is collapsed. van I use cipladine (povidone-iodine ointment USP) for prevention of infection and faster healing? Thank you.

Since, the boil has collapsed, there can be chance of infection. Thus, you may use antibiotic ointment for 2-3 days to control infection.
