Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 62 yrs old, overweight at 5-11 245# and get episodes of bad boils below my belly roll and on my inner thigh. They come and go. When I get my weight down they do not occur as often. I do not have diabetes but have always had some immune issues I blame on large doses of antibiotics when I was a teenager. I have had them lanced at urgent care in the past. They are pretty bad now.
It's because of skin lagging in that area causing infection. Apply some topical antibiotic cream over it and try to keep it dry as much as possible. Try to loose some weight and avoid tight clothes.
