Hello,
Hysterectomy is not in anyway related to the boils you have been suffering from. Boils occur due to infection of hair follicles on skin also called as furuncle. If you are frequently getting boils, you need to be checked for
diabetes mellitus as it can lead to immunocompromised state giving scope for boils.
Itching after an episode of intercourse is caused by any of the following:
1) Vaginitis due to bacteria
2) Trichomonas infection
3) Candidial vaginitis
4) Gonococcus and Chlamydial vaginitis
5) Vulval rash due to irritants or allergy
6)
Urinary tract infection along with vaginitis.
You need a thorough clinical examination and if necessary a pap smear to know the organism causing your vaginitis. Treatment depends upon the causative organism. The treatment options are as follows:
1) Bacterial vaginosis:
metronidazole tablets orally and metronidazole topical cream
2) Candida infections: antifungal cream or suppository of Miconazole or
Clotrimazole with oral antifungals like diflucan
3) Trichomanas also treated by metronidazole
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
