What Causes Bouts Of Anger And Repeating The Same Words With High BP?
My mother 87 years old, diabetic for 25 years, high blood pressure,4th stage kidney failure. creatin stable at 2.4 recently hospitalized for low sodium. She is having spurts of anger and lashing out her voice changes and she tells repeated stories over and ove r of things 20-30 years ago. Never had one day of dementia. she doesn t make sentences, just spurts out crazy phrases. only been going on for 2 weeks

She must be slipping into uremic/metabolic/hypertensive/hypoglycemic encephalopathy. She needs evaluation and investigations like blood counts, creatinine levels, serum electrolytes, serum lactate and brain scan sos. Take her to the ER immediately.
