What Causes Breast Heaviness And Abdominal Bloating After Taking Siphene?

Hi dr.I am a pcod patient and was recommended by my gynaecologist to have 5 siphene 100 mg from 2nd day of menstrual cycle,one each day.last month i took siphene ( on 7th sep) and also used OPK kit to check ovulation..and accordingly have had sex.. Unfortunately,i had my periods on 6th day (having 30 day menstual cycle)and it lasted 2days unlike (3-4 day) my normal periods. The bleeding was comparitively less. Also,before i got my menses i had symptoms like heavy breasts,abdominal bloating,dizzyness etc. I did the beta HCG Test and it gave negative results.Now it is 5 days past my menses,still i experience heavy breasts,dizziness..Kindly let me know if there r chances of me being pregnant or is it just the side effect of siphene.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Breast engorgement and dizziness can be due to pregnancy or due to side effect of the drug.
If the urine pregnancy test and blood levels of beta hCG are low, then the pregnancy is completely ruled out.
I suggest you not to worry, as this I'd most likely the side effects of the drug.
