What Causes Breast Pain, Asymmetry And Areola Lumps?
I have one breast sligltly larger than the other. I am having pain on the smaller one on the outer side of the breast? Should i be worried? Also on that same breast i have been squeezing the bumps on the areola. Now some of them have a black dot on them. Is that a sign of infection? And i also have one gland that just keeps having. More white stuff to come out everytime i squeeze it. This last time i squeezed it i had white/yellow stuff comming out.. Is all of this normal?
Hello. Welcome to HCM. In a human body all of our parts are not symmetrical. This is also for the breast. In every women one breast is larger than the other. The glands on the areola you see are the Montgomery's Gland. Their function is to lubricate the breast. The other function is that the substance in these Montgomery's gland has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects for the time that you will be lactating. You should not squeeze it. Its not good.
