Hi,

In my opinion, rather than self medicating, you should consult a doctor. Oral prednisolone is associated with many side effects and steroid containing inhalers may help you better. There are other medicines as well like ipratropium, salbutamol etc which can reduce the amount of steroids you need and improve your quality of life. By choosing to self medicate, you are denying yourself access to better options.

Best wishes.
