General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, we do not recommend the patients to stop treatment on their own without consulting with their doctor. If no asthma attacks or dyspnea, then, I think you should discuss with your caring doctor for its discontinuation.

You need a good clinical examination and respiratory function test before totally interrupting the treatment. There is no side effect, but we fear of a possible severe asthma attack. If no such, then proceed with your caring doctor and discuss my suggestions with her/him.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

All the best.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
