What Causes Breathing Difficulty Along With Chest Discomfort?

About four and a half months ,I ve been having difficulty breathing. There is constant tickling in my chest ,and I try suppressing the need to breath deeply, because when I do, I cough uncontrollably. When I do breath deeply, it hurts. I ve had two cortazone shots and predazone. I m 61 and very active. Never had this happen before. Two different doctors have not helped a bit. Thank you for your help . Chris

Hi,

Sir, please do visit a local cardiologist and have a cardiac check with ECG and Echo. The other reason could be defect in lungs. You can also them checked by X ray.
