What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Chest Tightness After Increasing Losartan-25mg Dosage?
I have taken losartan 25 mg. for a couple of years. Recently my doctor doubled the dose. I have taken 3 double doses. Problems with breathing started the night of the second day and are getting worse. Tightness in chest, no wheezing, pain with breathing.. I have never had this before. My asthma starts with wheezing.

Losarton drug may cause cough and chest tightness in few patients may be caused by bradykinin accumulation.
Please stop the drug and consult your physician he will examine and treat you with alternate drug.
