What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Headaches While On Levothyroxine?
my 16 year old daughter is on .05 of levothroxine and us having tightness of breath, headaches, arm and leg spasms. we have gone to get her blood at the urgent care ( showed normal levels of throid) and we have gone to her pediatrician concerning her tight throat. these conditions continue over 3 weeks and she is uncomfortable. Should I call her DR? how to counteract the effects? go to hospital?
Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-: 1)If her Thyroid level is normal first stop it for 15 days then as per her conditions it will be decided whether she will take and how much. 2)Correct Low hemoglobin% 3)Add b-Complex syrup 4)Do a full blood count with differential and record her body temp every 6 hours,if temp present do Para-check.
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best. Thanks,
