General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Fatigue and body pain may be there for up to 2 months after a pneumonia.
So, if you have only these symptoms, then it's okay, you should not worry. However, severe pain or difficulty in breathing should not occur after resolution of the infection.

If you have severe pain and shortness of breath, I would personally advise you to get a chest X-ray to see if there is any complication of the pneumonia like effusion or abscess formation.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
