What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Wheezing?

During mowing the yard. I became out of breath and was wheezing. My spo2 was 74 and 15 minutes later it 92. The problem mostly when exhaling, it took me about 45 minutes to completely recover. I know I need to go to a doctor but any thoughts on what this may be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

Wheezing and difficulty exhaling during physical exertion needs further evaluation for asthma and COPD. Physical examination ,cheat Xray, pulmonary function testing are needed at this point.
Please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider or pulmonologist for further evaluation and management.
It is also recommended to stop dmoking,if you do so.

Hope this answers your question
