What Causes Breathing Difficulty Upon Walking?
I have been taking Eliquis for 3 but less that 4 weeks - 5mg 2x s per day. I had a stroke in 2014 and subsequently have been diagnosed with AFib. This apparently is the only med available to me due to the stroke. Since taking this medicine it has become difficult to breath when walking. I now walk much slower. A walk that used to take me 15 minutes now takes me 25 minutes and it s all flat. Any suggestions? V. Cooper

itcanbe cardiac problem . take ecg and with report consult cardiologist for examination and advise on treatment.
