What Causes Breathing Difficulty While On Etodolac?

i was reading where is says that ETODOLAC shouldn t be taken with over the counter pain medication and now i m worried that that is why i m having trouble breathing. I did go to hospital yesterday because of it and they say i m fine and that oxygen level is alright but I m suppose to take percocets with the Etodolac but i don t always want to take the Percocet s and was taking Ibprobphen. Also they took me off Xanax and put me on Klonopin but feel like i m floating or something..

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is ok to alternate the use of Etodolac with other over the counter pain killers. But should not overuse. This is to minimize the risk of their side effects including stomach bleeding or others.

If you are not having any such side effects, there is nothing to worry about.

Shifting from Xanax to Klonopin might be the cause to your floating sensations. As long as no other problem is found, there is nothing to worry about.

Just continue taking the medications as prescribed by your caring doctor.

All the best.
