What Causes Breathing Difficulty While On Meloxicam?
Ive been prescribed meloxicam 7.5mg for radiating nerve pain from compressed disk on my spine at the base of my neck. The side effects indicate this drug may cause breathing problems, I already have breathing problems and sleep apnea using a cPap machine nightly. Should I avoid this drug?

In my opinion you should continue using meloxicam as long as it keeps you pain free. But if you had chest pain or shortness of breath anytime during the day then you should stop taking it and get back to your primary care physician to review the medication and change it if possible.
