General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Amir. I have read through your question and want to know whether you feel suddenly breathless while sleeping or have difficulty going to sleep due to breathlessness. Firstly I will suggest you to get an EKG done to rule out any heart related cause. Also a chest X ray . For now try raising the head end of the bed by about 4 inches as it may help you to breath more easily. It may only be due to the weather but it's better to rule out other causes. Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions please feel free to write. Stay healthy.
