What Causes Breathing Problem After A Turbinate Reduction Surgery?

I recently had a turbinate reduction surgery and had my deviated septum fixed. It was in May. Before the surgery I couldn t breath through my nose. Now I feel the same before the surgery. When will I be able to breathe? I ve been doing everything my doctor said like using the netti pot. I have also had green colored buggers. Is that normal? I ve also had to clear my throat a lot. I try to spit out any mucus. I have to see my doctor in August. I just wanna know when I can breathe through my nose

Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you need to consult your ENT surgeon as soon as possible because after surgery you should be having normal breath by now and this mucous and spiting indicated some infection so get your blood test like complete blood count as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
