What Causes Breathlessness Along With Cough And Chest Pressure?
Hello Doctor. I was Diagnosed with PVS, hart monitor test showed less then 8% irregularity and I was told that it is not dangerous. I mentioned that one of my symptoms is shortness of breath. Its a weird feeling It feels like Im not able to pull in enough oxygen to fill my lungs to full capasity. Im also caughing ocasionally from the slight pressure like feeling in my chest and when Iay on my chest, I feel like there is mucuse like sensation in my chest. like when you have a cold. Caughing starts when i lay down on my back or chest and when I laugh. My doctor said that these symptoms are not PVC related. Im not sure what else it can be. And online research i did indicates that it may be heart related, but Im afraid it may also be lungs related. Can you please advise?
It might be due to hyperactive muscles. But first should check blood electrolytes and knee X-ray to determine the right cause. Apply analgesic cream locally, plus do some massage with essential oils. Take magnesium supplement. If there is still no improvement, should see orthopedic specialist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
