Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Breathlessness And Dry Throat After Walking?
Very short walking distance (20 ft) and I am breathing so heavy that I need to breath through my mouth which in turn dries out my throat and mouth tissues making swallowing very difficult. My breathing during exercise was fine only 3 months ago. It feels like I am not getting enough O2, I become dizzy, lightheaded, and it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get to a point where my breathing returns to normal. I figure the cold temp. might be causing some of the shortness of breath, but not as much as I am experiencing.
you really need to check with a cardiologist if the heavy symptoms are there in short time , get done ur echocardiography n stress EKG as per my say , rest as Cardiologist suggest . but one serious advice not to delay . shortness of breath can b due to two reasons one is blockage in arteries of heart, irregular rhythm, or lungs are the culprit but must go to heart specialists first
