Hi I have been very ill off and on every since my doctor put me on long acting tramadol. # days ago i beccame short of breath, flushed skin, itchy all over cold sweats and severe chills and gooswe bumps. I am 34 years old I have fybromyalgia. I used to just take tramacet to mange my pain but every since going to the long acting I have not been feeling weel at all. I started tampering my dose from 300Mg down to 200mg because I feel it might be the med making me feel so terrible.
Thank you for your query You seem to be having an allergic reaction to the medicine or some component in it. Please inform your doctor immediately to ask for alternatives. Do not self medicate. If you have worsening breathing difficulty, puffy eyes or face, swelling in your lips or throat, go to the ER right away.
In the meantime, meditation, cool baths, deep breathing exercises, music or anything that relaxes you can help with the pain. You could also use your previous tramazec preparation after consulting your doctor.
Hope this helps. Wish you good health
