What Causes Breathlessness And Swelling In The Body Despite Using Flovent For Asthma?

I have asthma and I take montelukast 10 mg. once daily. I also use an inhaler Flovent 110 mcg as needed up to 3+ daily. I have been having trouble breathing I can t get enough air in. My neck is swollen. I m very tired. my face is puffy. I have a little bit of swelling in my feet, legs, & hands. I have a bilateral mass in my lung my doctor said it is not cancer because I have a c.t. Scan once a year to watch it. It has not grown & am now over due to have it done. I m just nervous because I can t breath right. It is hard to take a deep breath & if I go up & down the stairs I have to sit down I can t breath. It is scary

i feel at the moment you are suffering from right heart failiure because you have swelling of face and neck with some generalised swelling. lasix may be helpful to reduce your symptoms. i am not cleared what are the masses in your lung fields. anyway please consult a specialized general physician. he will arrrange echo cardiogram, contrast ct of chest and necessary blood and urine investigations including serum creatinin. ultra sound scan of abdomen also may need. after investigations he will start treament. also he may refer you to a cardiologist or respiratory physician according to investigation results.
