Understanding your concern. As per your query you have breathlessness with swelling and mucus in the nasal membrane and mouth are the symptoms which are pointing towards upper respiratory tract infection/ sinusitis , which can be caused by bacterial or viral infection. I t could be due to laryngitis which leads to inflammation of vocal cards. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like viral culture test , throat swab test and blood test to confirm the diagnosis and rule out causes. you should go for get laryngoscopy as well.
