I have renal tubular acidosis and am on potassium supplements, but have been nautiaus and haven't been able to keep them down I am worried about my shortness of breath, i am ok when in bed, but the minute i get up it starts
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your situation and problem. You are having tachycardia, renal disease and chest symptoms. So possibility of heart diseases is more. So better to get done ecg, 2d echo and stress test (trade mill test). If all these are normal than no need to worry for heart diseases. Bronchitis can also cause similar symptoms. So get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test). You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). So better to first diagnose yourself and than start appropriate treatment. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
