What Causes Breathlessness,rashes And Swollen Lips After Insect Bite?
My boyfriend got bit by a horsefly on his back and forearm. He is having some difficulty breathing and has broken out in a rash. He is also swollen around the mouth and lips. I gave 75mg of benadryl and cleaned the area with soap and vinager. What else can I do?

Your boyfriend has developed anaphylaxis to the insect venom. Give him antihistamines and if the symptoms doesn't subside then consult a doctor because if breathlessness increases as it can be life threatening.
