What Causes Broken Blood Vessels In The Eyes And Arms After Endoscopy?

Yesterday my 54 year old diabetic husband had an endoscopy. They said he didn t tolerate the procedure well. He has broken blood vessels in one eye and above both eyes. His left hand and lower arm also turned a red color - like a sunburn... Why would this happen?

Respected Madam, hi sorry to hear about your issue.
Per se endoscopy is not going to give rise to above but
*In respect to his diabetes, what drugs may have been injected in his veins
for may be sedation or pain control must have adverse effects on his eyes
leading to congestive hemorrrhages probably.
*Redness in left hand and lower arm is mostly thrombophlebitis from out
veins if the intracath was introduced in the same hand.
Hope this has cleared your queries
I will recommend at least to consult an Ophthalmologist in ER.
Thanks Regards
Bye take care
Wishing your husband a fast and speedy recovery from the present condition.
