Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I woke up this morning with broken blood vessels on my right leg, it s about 3-4 inches and it s in a swirl going up the front & side of my leg. It was itchy and I ve had a few other vessels pop in my legs and hands and fingers at times. Should I be concerned?
As per my clinical experience, the recurrent issues of broken blood vessels on legs and hands may be part of underlying body system issues such as defect in DNA repair to sun exposure or friction related injury of subcutaneous tiny blood vessels, which happen in auto immune response in Telengiectasia issues. Kindly get a primary consultation with your family physician for further guidelines in this regard.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
