The blood vessels in my fingers break easily; I ve had half of my hand turn purple from just carrying a hanger with 2-3 items on it. This past Sunday, I carried several heavy bags and didn t seem to have a problem until a couple hours later when I noticed pain in my left thumb. I figured my thumb would turn purple, but it hasn t. I have a lump under the surface that I assume is a broken blood vessel. It isn t as sore as it was Sunday, but is still sensitive. Would you guess that it is something besides a broken vessel?
