What Causes Bronchitis Along With Vomiting And Diarrhea?

I was in the er twice for a viral infection. Thev1st time took test, chest xray, strep and bronchitis. Went home with nothing. A fees days later went to nurse prac. She put me on strong antibiotics. By this time I was vomiting, running off the bowels, not eating and coughing. Now my sugar is 220. Should I go to the er? I have type 2

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It is possible that due to antibiotic treatment there may be extra bowel movement leading to loose stools and also vomiting. If you are still on antibiotic and if there is no fever or any other symptom you may stop the antibiotic. Usually viral infection does not need any antibiotics as mostly it is a self limiting one. You should take enough fluids (about 1 to 1.5 liters a day) preferably oral rehydration solution. Since you have T2 DM , if it is not in control, it is better to visit the ER. But if you are regular treatment and blood glucose levels are in control, then that may not be needed. Thanks.
