What Causes Brown And Pink Vaginal Discharge?

Hello, Nov 3, 2016 I had a period it ended Nov 9,2016. Then nov. 20th I had another period that ended on 24th. On Dec 20th I had brownish/pinkish/light red bleeding until dec21. I did pregnancy test and it said negative. Now this month my period is due in about a week and half and I m experiencing brownish pinkish discharge that is almost like a booger. It has no smell, there s no itching or burning or irritated skin. The only color is creamy white mixed with brown and pink spotting. No cramps. I took another hpt after I saw the discharge and it said negative. The test is from dollar tree. I went to the dr when I had the double period and he said I was normal young and healthy , he did pelvis exam. Is it possible I m pregnant.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone, this hormone is normally detectable by day 11 to 14 after conception.

If this time frame has not passed and the test was done too early then you would get a false negative result.

If you are sexually active and not currently using contraception then it is possible that you are pregnant and the test was done too early.

You should consider waiting a few days, if the 11 to 14 day time frame has not passed and repeat the test.

I hope this helps
