General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

Circumcision does indeed help to prevent all such infections and also makes it easier to maintain good personal hygiene so please do consider it.

As for the current issue, I think it could be due to a fungal infection which occurs due to damp surroundings in the region resulting in the described issue. Being uncircumcised makes it difficult to keep the region dry and clean. Try using a topical anti-fungal cream that you can get your hands on over-the-counter at a medical store. Or use 150 mg of fluconazole tablet once and report back to me. In the meantime avoid masturbation, avoid sexual contact and keep the region dry and clean as far as possible.

Best wishes
