What Causes Brown Discharge And Bloating After Taking Plan B?

Hi I had unprotected sex on Saturday then took plan b 3 hours later but then had unprotected sex again on Sunday and Tuesday and took plan b again on Wednesday, I am scared I might be pregnant because I have experience brown discharge and feel bloated.. Should I be concerned?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

First of all the brown discharge you had after the intake of plan B pill should be breakthrough bleeding. This bleeding occurs due to intake of plan B pill & is normal feature of intake of this pill. Breakthrough bleeding means that the pill intake was successful in preventing pregnancy. So you should not be worried about getting pregnant.
Now as per bloating, this is a very common side effect of plan B pill. You could take an antacid or tablet like ranitidine 150 & will go on its own with time.
A plan B pill should not be used as regular method of contraception. Regular intake of this pill could cause irregular & delayed periods, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, ectopic pregnancy & other harmful effects including infertility. Next time use regular contraceptive pill or condoms for prevention of unwanted pregnancy.
